Information on load capacity of cabinet suspension brackets and on accessories
The following basic loading principles must be observed when using cabinet suspension brackets and accessories:
- Both the furniture design and the quality of the furniture's material and production are beyond our control.
- The quality and condition of the wall materials. as well as its general load bearing properties is also beyond our control.
- It is the fitter's/customer's responsibility to assess the wall and select suitable fixing hardware.
- The fixing screws must meet the following requirements:
minimum strength class: 5.8
min. shaft diameter 4 mm
flat head of at least 10 mm in diameter. - Add on elements, such as end shelves, must not be fitted without separate suspension bracket.
- The cabinet maker / retailer is responsible for ensuring that the furniture marketed meets the latest requirements of local standards and guidelines, such as furniture standard EN 14749 applicable in Europe.
